epitonic.com Relaunches, Original Founders at Helm

Music editorial site Epitonic.com is being relaunched by its original founders. Established in 1999, the company sought out the create a destination where even the most geographically challenged fans could discover new artists. At its peak, Epitonic.com had hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors. However, the beloved site fell on hard times and was bought by Palm Pictures; it then went dormant in 2004 and everyone involved moved on.

Starting Epitonic was amazing and chaotic," said Justin Sinkovich, original co-founder and current CEO. “Now, we're elated to own Epitonic once again." Aided by technology that wasn't available at the time and a bit of DIY ethic, the founders aim to recapture the spirit of the site they remember. For fans interested in helping to fund the relaunch, the team has initiated a Kickstarter campaign.
