Electric Blues Guitarist E.J. Phillips tore up the house last Friday night via his hybrid Hendrix/Stevie Ray Vaughn style of electric blues. Known by thousands of tourists who venture into New Orleans' French Quarter venues, Phillips also tours within the United States and abroad, yet quite a few locals are unfamiliar with his craft. His radio spot on WWOZ last Friday (prior to his inaugural appearance at the Water's Edge) essentially lit up the radio station's switchboard, as they heard cuts from his CD, Live At Club Soda. Phillips' astounding technique, left many of the patrons astounded.

Also, the Water's Edge Bar & Grill has booked the legendary, Walter “Wolfman" Washington for club appearances on 2-7 & 3-8.
