Sounds and Silence: Travels With Manfred Eicher

Film-makers Peter Guyer and Norbert Wiedmer spent five years following ECM founder and celebrated record producer Manfred Eicher to sessions, concerts and festivals around the globe. Featured musicians include Arvo Pärt, Eleni Karaindrou, Dino Saluzzi, Anja Lechner, Jan Garbarek, Kim Kashkashian, Nik Bärtsch, Gianluigi Trovesi, Anouar Brahem, Marilyn Mazur and more. This acclaimed documentary film won the 2009 Berner Film Prize and has been screened at leading film festivals.
A Q&A with Manfred Eicher and a reception will follow the screening.
