New Application Deadline: December 31, 2024
With the eleventh edition of our international improvised music contest, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting talent from around the world and across all musical genres, making our format even more open and inclusive to celebrate every form of music.We had previously extended the deadline to October 30, but to give young musicians the chance to best prepare their entries, we have decided to further extend the application deadline to December 31. Participants will now have a few extra months to submit their videos, which will then be evaluated by our expert panel.
Since 2016, our primary goal has been to support and showcase new talent globally. As part of this commitment, we’ve made entry free for all musicians under 18 in both the Jazz and Beyond Jazz categories.

To enter the contest, soloists and groups pay a small registration fee then submit a video performance. Both original and non-original pieces are accepted. Entries will be judged by a panel of 40 international jazz experts including respected journalists, musicians and educators in the field.Prize fund
