UK Drummer Rick Hudson has emerged as a strong force in the UK jazz/funk scene. Under the tutelage of UK Hard Bop legend Tommy Chase, Rick has delivered strong energetic performances that live up to Tommy Chase's reputation and sound. The Boogaloo Band, whose first album “Dance for Daddy" is out now, are due to be recording the second album at the end of Feb.2003. This gig will offer audiences the chance to hear new material, hot off the press. With Jazz-Dance DJ Justina Chase and Local Cambridge Jazz/Funk favourites The Don Schwartz Trio, Beatnik on the 9th March will deliver some of the freshest UK jazz/funk going.
