Wojciech Lichtański
In 2013, he obtained his Master of Arts degree in Saxophone at the Academy of Music in Katowice. At the same Academy he was awarded a Bachelor of Music Degree in Composition and Arrangement. He is currently a PhD student at the Academy of Music in Katowice.
Wojciech co-creates several outstanding Polish jazz bands: Piotr Budniak Essential Group, Mike Parker Quintet, Bartosz Pernal Sextet or Vehemence Quartet. He is also the leader of his own quartet – Wojciech Lichtański Questions. He had the opportunity to perform at many festivals in Poland and abroad: Leverkusen Jazz Festival, Delhi Jazz Festival, Stara Zagora Jazz Festival, Jazz nad Odrą and many more. He cooperated with such musicians as: David Doróżka, Jorge Vistel, Leszek Możdżer, Janusz Muniak, Piotr Wojtasik, Ed Partyka and Piotr Wyleżoł.
