Victor Lesser
Lesser's musical influences range from Sinatra, Bennett and Louis Jordan to Joe Turner, James Brown, Ray Charles, Donny Hathaway, Lester Young and Charlie Parker - has been a featured performer at the North Sea Jazz Festival, Heineken Jazz Festival and tours in Europe, Japan and the Caribbean. He has been featured with “The Sopranos,” appeared with Paul Shaffer’s house band on Letterman’s “Late Night” (the quintessential NYC experience), was bandleader on the Lifetime Network’s national talk show “Attitudes,” and was a member of the legendaryNYC R&B-jazz band - “Stuff”, which featured an all-star lineup of Richard Tee, Eric Gale, Cornell Dupree, Gordon Edwards and Steve Gadd.
Lesser’s other credits have included work with the Dr. John (Mac Rebennack), Hiram Bullock, Darryl Hall (Hall & Oates), Chuck Mangione, Luther Vandross Band, Jocelyn Brown, Dan Aykroyd (Blues Brothers), Ben E. King, The Coasters, Eddie Durham, Zoot Sims, Gary U.S. Bonds and many more.
