The Chemistry Project

What’s in a name? In the case of The Chemistry Project …the name speaks to the ability of five talented musicians to create innovative, unique, and heartfelt music at will!!

The Chemistry Project is a rebirth of the early to late 90’s group who experienced a great deal of success gigging at venues in the Baltimore / Washington area including 8X10, Maxx’s on Broadway, Virginia Tech, and Georgetown Harbourfest. Additional prestigious bookings include the Kennedy Center.

Reformed in 2015 with two founding members, today’s Chemistry Project continues the tradition of playing smooth and funky soulful jazz with an emphasis on amazing textural harmonies and melodies. The band’s focus is original music along with select covers interpreted with new feels that echo and build on the original song.

Recent accomplishments include performances ( May 2016 and Jan 2017 ) at the world renowned Blues Alley .

In addition to gigging the band records in their brand-new professional-grade studio where they’re completing a new Q1 2020 CD release.
