The Beeched Wailers are a jazz quintet from Ottawa, Canada. We’ve played together in other bands for years, and started The Beeched Wailers in January 2014.

We play original music written by members of the band, and always feature many other composers from Ottawa, Canada such as Steve Boudreau, Mark Ferguson, Petr Cancura, Garry Elliott, and Mike Essoudry, Vince Rimbach and Peter Hum. We have hosted our Tuesday Night Jazz Jam on a weekly basis since March 2014.

The Beeched Wailers’ individual band member sideman credits read like a who’s-who of the international music industry - Dave Brubeck, Roy Hargrove Big Band, Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Jamie Cullum and more.

We all reside in Ottawa, Canada, and work locally with groups as diverse as Los Gringos, Mélanie E, Old Stereo, Riishi Von Rex, Trouble Clef, and Mackenzie Rhythm Section.

All of The Beeched Wailers are active teachers as well as performers, two of us teach music at Carleton University.
