Miami,Florida based Sunshine Jazz Organization (SJO) was created in 1986 with a passion for Jazz and on the premise that the measure of a society can be found in its culture. Music arts are vital for the continual growth, enrichment and advancement of communities, and for our position as cultural leaders. The SJO is committed to creating avenues for Jazz awareness, education and performances by exposing audiences to the joys and importance of America's indigenous art form. All ages can enjoy events for free or at a nominal charge. We encourage you to go out and support live jazz, allowing artists to develop and thrive, and enabling the SJO to continue producing exciting presentations in parks, schools, community and senior centers, concert venues, and local nightspots.
