I have been an in demand freelance drummer and percussionist in Chicago, IL, and the metropolitan area since 1980. In that time I have played thousands of gigs of all types, in every possible venue!

For this reason, I find that 'Primary Genre" prompt, above, to be quite limiting!

A PRO drummer should be able to cover a lot of bases--- that is the way that I was taught and that's the way that i teach.

I am a 1982 graduate of the DePaul University School of Music, and my musical influences are varied and exhaustive.

I play and teach all styles and genres of MUSIC .

Some of my favorites are : jazz, rock, world music, latin, brazilian, british invasion, dance, classical and ethnic.
