Sienna Spiro

Sienna Spiro is a British vocalist, pianist and songwriter whose powerful, richly textured voice draws from jazz, soul and classic pop traditions while placing those influences within a contemporary singer-songwriter setting.

Born in London in 2005, Spiro began writing songs at age ten and grew up listening to artists including Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra, alongside hip-hop and contemporary R&B. She later attended East London Arts & Music (ELAM), while developing an audience through social media performances that showcased a striking vocal maturity, soulful phrasing and distinctive raspy tone.

Spiro began releasing original music in 2024 with the single "Need Me," followed by "Maybe," which brought her wider attention in the UK. Her debut EP, Sink Now, Swim Later, appeared on Capitol Records in 2025 and established her as an emerging singer-songwriter capable of combining intimate, emotionally direct writing with dramatic arrangements and a voice rooted in the expressive traditions of jazz and soul.

Her international breakthrough came with "Die on This Hill," a sweeping piano-driven ballad that reached the UK Top 10 and introduced Spiro to a much larger audience. The song preceded her debut full-length album, Visitor, released in 2026. Exploring love, impermanence, identity and emotional vulnerability, the album expanded her sound through elements of soul, orchestral pop and jazz-inflected songwriting.

Although Spiro belongs to a generation of artists whose music moves easily across traditional genre boundaries, her approach reflects an older lineage of vocal storytelling: commanding technique placed in service of emotional communication. That combination of classic influences and contemporary songwriting has positioned her as one of the distinctive young voices to emerge from the British music scene in the mid-2020s.
