Overview of the Eclecticism Project

Ron Holmes, the visionary behind the acclaimed Jazz Fusion collective fo/mo/deep, is embarking on an exciting new musical journey with the Eclecticism Project. This project aims to weave together a captivating sonic tapestry that transcends traditional genre boundaries, celebrating the diverse influences of Afro-Beat, Jazz, Funk, and Groove. 

The upcoming release, titled "Vibes & Tribes," is set to launch on February 6, 2026, and will feature all original music performed by an 8-piece band, including a powerful horn section and African percussion.

Since its inception in 2007, Ron Holmes and fo/mo/deep have consistently pushed the boundaries of contemporary jazz and funk fusion. Their critically acclaimed albums, including “Syzygy” (2019), "The Groovy Goodness" (2014), "A Beautiful Bang" (2012), and "Eclecticism" (2010), have garnered praise from both critics and fans alike.
