Started by young guitarist and composer Paul Jarret, Pj5 gathers around its leader's many influences, finely weaving together modern jazz from New York and Scandinavia, as well as rock and pop sounds with a tinge of electronic music. While drawing from a wide pallet of styles and references, the band's musical universe stays extremely coherent, thanks to a thorough collective effort on sound and colour.

Pj5 won several prizes in french jazz contests (La Défense, Jazz à St-Germain- des-Prés, Jazz à Oloron…).
