Oli Bott

Oli Bott studied vibraphone and composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston with teachers such as Gary Burton and Bob Brookmeyer graduating 'summa cum laude'.

Since then he works as vibraphonist and composer in Berlin, received several scholarships by the City of Berlin, got composition commissions for his own jazz orchestra and had radio- and tv-recordings of many of his concerts in Germany and abroad. He won prizes at competitions such as NDR-Musicprize for Jazzconductors, Leipziger Improvisation Competition, Europ Jazz Contest and the Wayne Shorter Award, USA.
