Nick Nare

Born in Gwanda ,a city in Matebelaland south province in Zimbabwe in 1982. Grew up in the city of Mutare and Bulawayo. Started studying music at around age 18. Went into full time music in Harare in 2005.Was an undergraduate at Zimbabwe College of Music , also studied at Music Crossroads Academy Zimbabwe. Has perfomed and/or recorded with Steve Dyer ,Chiwoniso Maraire,Sam Mutukudzi, Dudu Manhenga,Kudzai Sevenzo, V Mukarati, Josh Meck, Prudence Katomeni,Willom Tight, Charles Summerfield, among athers. Is also a jazz educationist , teaches Keyboard Harmony, Piano, and Applied Harmony and Improvisation at Music Crossroads Academy in Harare.
