Nick Freer

Nick has performed throughout Australia with various jazz ensembles, including festival appearances at the Melbourne International Festival of Jazz, the Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Electric Jazz Festival, the Italian International Jazz Festival and the Stonnington Jazz Festival. He has also performed in China, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Vietnam and Germany. Currently he is completing a PhD in Musicology focusing on the Post-Tonal harmony of Allan Holdsworth

The euphonious start to “Glyph" on The Unsuspecting gives no clue as to the surprising guitar solo that ensues. This surely is Allan Holdsworth, no? Actually it isn't.
