Debbie Lane

Vocalist Debbie Lane has explored many music genres including jazz, pop, rock and R&B. Her unique, eclectic repertoire reflects her musical background with performances in Boston and Washington, DC area pop/rock bands and her work in the record business. She is a long-time student of vocal coach Rebecca Parris and participated in the Stanford Jazz Workshop Vocal institute led by Madeline Eastman and Dena DeRose. She has performed in such Boston area venues as Ryles Jazz Club, Scullers, Thelonious Monkfish Restaurant and Somerville Arts at the Armory.

Debbie has just released her debut CD, This Happy Madness. She describes the album as a "collection of songs by favorite composers that span the many genres of music I love, from the 1920’s to today, with arrangements that are borrowed or reimagined." Debbie co-produced the album with Rebecca Parris and music director Bill Duffy. Band personnel includes Bill Duffy, piano; John Baboian, guitar; Bob Bowlby, tenor sax and flute; Thomas Hebb, bass; Steve Langone, drums.
