John Doheny

John Steven "Pip" Doheny (born December 17, 1953), is a jazz tenor saxophonist and band leader, who also plays flute, clarinet, and alto saxophone. Doheny is also a jazz historian, and historian. Born in Seattle, Washington, and having spent his early career in Vancouver, Canada, he is now a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, where he is professor of music at Tulane University.
