EYM Trio

For over twelve years, French jazz pianist Elie Dufour has formed an acoustic jazz band, EYM Trio, with double bassist Yann Phayphet and drummer Marc Michel. They’re touring all over the world for several years, meeting great artists and exploring new approaches in the music. They developed an original band identity by playing more that 400 concerts together, that is quite a lot. What they are offering is original music, a modern nomad jazz colored by musical backgrounds from each country visited on tour.

As a video transcription of the band’s state of mind, the trio works on a side video project called Nomad’ Sessions, playing anywhere, in any circumstances with almost nothing. A webseries is available on YouTube.
