Goldbloom
Brooklyn-based punk jazz trio GoldBloom wants to be your new favorite garage band.
Originally hailing from Texas, the trio began playing together while attending the New School for Jazz and soon after cultivated a musical sensibility that combines the hard-hitting and visceral nature of a rock band with the high technical skill of a top-shelf jazz trio. Since 2019, the band has been actively performing around NYC, bringing raucous intelligence to their performances and earning praise at jazz and rock venues. With their first release, “Peaked in High School,” the band challenged listeners to tap their toes and bang their heads. With their second release, "For Money and Power," the trio further solidifies their style, exploring a broader range of influences from country music to Charles Mingus. Goldbloom is a new kind of saxophone trio made for casual music fans and aficionados alike.
