Francesco Patti
Francesco Patti began his musical journey at the age of five with the piano. After years of studying the piano, he discovered jazz at the age of 12 and decided to play the saxophone.
From the outset, he had the opportunity to participate in important masterclasses and festivals, where he could study and engage with internationally renowned artists.
He is a winner of several national and international awards, including the “International Jazz Award Massimo Urbani,” “Premio Marco Tamburini,” “Carinthian International Jazz Award,” and "Air - Artist Residence" (in Lima, Perù). In 2012, he won a scholarship for the “Berklee Five Week Program” at Berklee College of Music in Boston. In 2016, he spent an extended period in the United States, between Boston and New York, where he had the chance to collaborate with internationally acclaimed musicians, including the well-known saxophonist Harry Allen, with whom he undertook a tour in Italy.
He currently lives in New York, where in 2023 he recorded the album “A Sound In Common,” featuring the internationally acclaimed guitarist Peter Bernstein.
He has collaborated with internationally recognized musicians such as: Peter Bernstein, Harry Allen, Stjepko Gut, Adam Arruda, Joseph Ranieri, Francesco Cafiso, Dario Deidda, Flavio Boltro, Stefano Bagnoli, Marcello Pellitteri, Roberto Tarenzi, Roberto Gatto, Salvatore Bonafede.
