Rebecka Edlund
Swedish vocalist and songwriter Rebecka Edlund weaves Scandinavian folk music with improvisation and
contemporary jazz. Since moving to London in 2019, she has emerged as one of the UK's most compelling vocalists.
Edlund tours the UK and Europe with the likes of Hans Koller, John O'Gallagher and duo partner Rob Luft.
Recent ventures include performing with Ruth Goller's Skylla and recording an album with an octet featuring Norma Winstone, Jeff Ballard and Iain Ballamy. She curates the Downstairs Living Room series at Vortex Jazz Club and appears regularly at London venues such as Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express and Green Note.
In 2022, Edlund released the album Något Om En Björk with her quartet Oknytt, which was nominated as Folk Jazz Album of the Year by Lira Music Magazine.
