L'uovo di Colombo
Lu Colombo's CD with the "Maurizio Geri Swingtet” is a hymn to 1900's pop music, where you can experiences various influences, from the music of the 30s, to latin music, to the pop of the 70s. The idea for this new record is born from the collaboration with famour authors like Claudio Sanfilippo, Denis Gaita, Davide Tortorella and David Riondino and with young authors like Francesca di Robilant, Nicolò Cavalchini and Massimo Galuppi; Maurizio Geri and his great group gave the music the distinct sound it has. Swing now becomes part of Lu Colombo's repertoire, and the latin beat becomes part of the Swingtet. L'uovo di Colombo is an intimate and yet funny record, wonderful for the radio and the theatre, but also great for live gigs. The CD is produced by Trimurti Edizioni.
