The quartet led by Fürth pianist Michael Flügel was bursting with ideas.
(...) A great lineup is half the battle. But it's not just about skill, as indisputable as their brilliance may be, but about teamwork. In other words, responding harmoniously to one another, giving colleagues room to play, but also spurring each other on until the percussion or piano reaches propeller speeds and the audience at the Kofferfabrik is catapulted out of their seats. (...) [Lost Places] - The lost place as a nucleus for new developments, the Kofferfabrik as a breeding ground for new musical ideas: on this evening, it was palpable.
