NYO Jazz

NYO Jazz gives outstanding young jazz musicians (ages 16-19) from across the country the opportunity to perform as cultural ambassadors on stages across the globe, sharing a uniquely American musical genre with cultures around the world through a performance tour. In 2022, trumpeter Sean Jones returns as bandleader for the ensemble’s first US tour, alongside renowned jazz vocalist Jazzmeia Horn.
