Pere Bujosa

Mallorcan multi-instrumentalist Pere Bujosa, alongside his trio, has carved out a remarkable path, establishing himself as one of the most exciting emerging voices in contemporary jazz. With over 40 performances under his belt across the Balearic Islands, the Iberian Peninsula, and international stages, Bujosa brings not only technical prowess and virtuosity but also a deep capacity for innovation, which sets him apart as a composer and creative project leader.

Since completing his studies in Amsterdam, he has released four critically acclaimed albums, masterfully blending influences from Balearic folklore with modern jazz and electronic music elements. In his upcoming work, set to be released in 2024, Bujosa reinterprets the legacy of composers connected to the Balearic Islands, such as Chopin and Jaume Mas Porcel, bridging tradition with cutting-edge sounds.

In 2022, his tour of India brought the sound of his trio to cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, and New Delhi, showcasing his ability to connect with diverse international audiences. In 2023, he expanded his global influence by performing in Indonesia.
