Michael Mroz

Michael Mroz (b. 1982) is a Chicago native composer, multi-instrumentalist and music educator, who works mostly in the realms of chamber music and contemporary jazz.

As a composer, he has been asked to present his work around the U.S., as well as abroad in places like Warsaw, Poland; and the Irish Sound Science and Technology Convocation, near Dublin.

He has played or shared programs in various contexts with the likes of Jeb Bishop, Frank Rosaly, Jason Roebke, Dave Miller, Billie Howard, Nora Barton, Arrington Dionisyo, David Dove, Thomas Helton, Nick Mazzarella, Jeff Kimmel, and others.
