MarQuis Hunt & MOOD

Marquis (aka MarQuis) (pronounced MAR-kwis) Hunt is a Stellar Award nominated recording artist most noted for his soprano sax ability, but he is equally gifted on tenor and alto sax. MarQuis has performed, written and produced for Grammy and Dove Award-nominated albums. He was recognized and nominated as Best Jazz Artist by the Central Arkansas Music Awards and is recommended by the Arkansas Arts Council. MarQuis is the host of the MOOD Monday jazz show on KABF 88.3FM radio every Monday from 10 AM to Noon. MarQuis (aka Mr. MOOD) brings you the best of hot, smooth and classic jazz. MarQuis has gathered a band of additional skillful musicians called MOOD. His brand of jazz is soulful, sultry and smooth and is sure to delight audience members seeking to relax and unwind. MarQuis has a unique sound that ranges from classic jazz to contemporary, but with an infusion of funk and R&B for a little added spice. MarQuis is available as a solo artist or with his entire band as MarQuis & MOOD. MarQuis is also a very-experienced producer and is available for studio and session work. MarQuis is based in Little Rock, Arkansas. He can frequently be heard in surrounding areas such as Hot Springs, Fayetteville and Memphis. MarQuis is available for performances both nationally and abroad. MarQuis is exclusively managed by L. A. Rose Entertainment.
