Kate Curran

Kate Curran is a powerfully emotive and soulful vocalist who seamlessly combines golden age songbook jazz with fresh, modern musicianship and arrangements from some of the finest musicians NYC has to offer. Her musical path has found her equally at home in big band settings, (touring nationally with Louis Prima Jr and the Witnesses, or appearing with the Glenn Miller Orchestra) as well as with her own small group that works extensively in the NYC area. Ms. Curran's ability to shine light through unexpected facets of the Great American Songbook while delivering lush and exceptionally present vocals has earned her a reputation as a skilled storyteller and dynamic musician.
