Joe Bongiovi

Joe Bongiovi is the Director/Owner of the Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra (PJO). PJO is an All Star Big Band comprised of the best college and high school musicians in the Philadelphia and New Jersey region of the United States.

The Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra has performed all over the world and will be touring Europe once again this summer with performances at La Spezia International Jazz Festival and at the 50th Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland.

In addition to The Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra, Joe Bongiovi is the band director at Princeton High School and the conductor of the Princeton Studio Band. The Princeton Studio Band has toured all over Europe as well and competes often at the Berklee High School Jazz Festival in Boston. The band has won the festival under Bongiovi's direction 8 times in the past 10 years, including the past 7 years consecutively.
