Jazz on the Square

Jazz on the Square is a not-for-profit organization based in Woodstock, Illinois. Our mission is to provide the best live jazz performance and education in northern Illinois.

Woodstock, Illinois has become the hottest destination for live music in McHenry County. Concerts at Off Square Music, the Woodstock Folk Festival, the Mozart Festival, Stage Left Café and the Opera House, among many other venues, showcase the great musical talent in the region.

Jazz on the Square continues this tradition by sponsoring the best jazz in McHenry County at 1776, Herban Fare, La Petite Creperie, Liquid Blues, Mixteca Tequila Bar, Odd Fellows, O'Leary's Pub and Stage Left Café.

The Jazz on the Square jazz jams hosted by Billy Denk are a popular event for Chicago area musicians.

The Woodstock Jazz Festival is hosted each August by Jazz on the Square.
