Jason Hunter - Trumpet

Jason Hunter is a trumpeter, arranger and composer originally from Los Angeles, California. After studying music at Fullerton College and Berklee College of Music with jazz legends such as Mark Whitfield, Ralph Peterson and Tiger Okoshi, Jason has been performing with various projects as a side man and band leader all over the world. As an arranger and instrumentalist, Hunter has worked closely with the bright and versatile soul music singer Sofia Rubina. Together they also won the title of Best Estonian Jazz Album in 2015. However, residing in Estonia, Hunter is also increasingly playing with other Estonian jazz artists. He is currently working on a new album of his original music. Hunter skilfully blends his roots in West Coast jazz with modern approaches in jazz music. What results is wonderful music that nourishes your mind, body and soul.
