Hilario Rodeiro
Hilario Rodeiro is a Spanish musician (Santiago de Compostela, 1981) who has resided for the past 20 years in the vicinity of San Sebastián, Basque Country. His mentors have included artists such as L.A.R. Legido, Jo Krause, Guillermo McGill, Jorge Rossy, Guillermo Klein, and Bill McHenry, among many others.
As a composer, he has created the soundscapes and music for contemporary dance shows for the company Dínamo Danza, such as Luz Negra (2024), Orígenes (2022), Elektrical Body (2020), and Transoceánica (2018), among others like Nikola (Atalak, 2021), and short films like Nosotros (Maximino Constantini, 2022). Within the jazz field, he has composed pieces for numerous ensembles, such as his quintet or the trio CiTriC, and has contributed works to several albums by R.S.Faktor or The New Jazz Collective. In 2022, he founded the record label Abelurio Sons, where he currently releases his electronic and programmatic works under the pseudonyms Anosmic and Tnuk.
As a free improviser, he has participated in collectives and groups such as IXO!, The Big Free Tongue, Memoria Uno, 3.3, African Tales, FreeDa Orchestra, alongside artists like Tom Chant, Ramón Prats, Marcel·li Bayer, Pablo Selnik, Iván González, Iñaki Rodriguez, Susana Cencillo, and sculptor Koldobika Jauregi, among others. Throughout his career, he has recorded more than 30 albums for producers like Alberto Pérez or Dave Darling (both Grammy winners), among many others.

Awards
Awarded by the Music Academy with the group Mamá Cabra (Best Song in Galician), he has won the 5th Barcelona Jazz Contest with CiTriC, the BBK Jazz Award for Best Album of the Year with R.S.Faktor, and was a finalist in the 9th Martín Códax Music Awards. As a drummer, he has performed with numerous national and international artists and bands, such as Gordon Lee, Chris Kase, Bob Sands, Andrej Olejnizack, Ilja Reijngoud, Deborah Carter, Sheila Cuffy, Pamplona Jazz Orchestra, R.S.Faktor, CiTriC, Los Wachisneis, and many others.
