Haroldo Jobim

Brazilian jazz and bossa nova drummer, born on October 21, 1948 in Rio de Janeiro. A founding member of the Fogueira Três trio that recorded several albums for the CID label. From 2005 to 2015, he played with singer Ithamara Koorax, with whom he toured Europe and Asia multiple times. A cousin of composer Antonio Carlos Jobim, he died on September 10, 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, at age 75.
