Hanna Schüly

Hanna Schüly studied "recorder" and "rhythm" at the University of Music in Freiburg (Germany) and "saxophone" at the Swizz Jazz School in Bern.

She played at the premiere of the children opera Pollicino in Montepulciano at Il Cantiere International (Italy, 1979). Later on she had a solo performance at the premiere of the 'Saxophon Synphony' together with Barbara Thompson and Ricky Ford and the ZMF-Festivalorchestra at the International Zeltmusikfestival (Freiburg 1992). Further performances were the Montreux Festival (Switzerland) together with FEM 5 (2000) and at 'Le gipfel du jazz Freiburg' (2001) with Tamuja.

Hanna Schüly also played at the 'Festival internacional' (Costa Rica, 2002). 2002 and 2003 she was guest professor at the UNA (Universidad Nacional).
