Francesca Confortini
I was born in Milan, Italy; I have been living and working in London for many years.
London is the place where I achieved a Bachelor degree in Popular Music Performance and I have been studying for a Master in Jazz Studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
I have always been singing, performing and playing the piano, knowing that it was meant to be something more than a passion: I needed music to have a huge role in my life.
Right after my diploma at a"liceo classico" in Milan, I graduated at the esteemed musical theatre academy SDM - La scuola del musical, where I worked on my stage presence and interpretation, which still represent two of my strongest skills today.
My sound is versatile, with a soft -but soulful- tone and a wide range: I face every musical challenge with enthusiasm and I never stop honing my craft: from my beloved musical theatre singing, to jazz improvisation, agility-based pop, gypsy-rock sounds and even gospel, I have always liked to experiment different genres, bringing my personality on stage.
I have been performing in some of Europe's most amazing stages, from the 100 Club, Wembley Stadium and Ronnie Scott's in London, to the Blue Note in Milan and the Grand Hotel de Paris in Monaco. I have been collaborating with international artists such as Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), Francesco Mendolia (Incognito), Giuliano Dottori (Amor Fou), Leif Searcy (Emma Marrone, Malika Ayane) and many others.
I have been teaching music performance and contemporary vocals since 2018 at ICMP London -The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance.

Since then, they have built impressive careers, contributing to projects in musical theatre and the London jazz scene, performing alongside renowned artists such as Elliot ...
