Continuing to let his love for music lead him, Nowadays, he can be found swinging his plunger mute gently against the bell of his Antoine Courtois trombone, while playing beside highly noted musicians at concerts and festivals all over the world. He has captured and moved audiences in China, Europe, Russia, South America, Australia, Canada, South Africa and in over twenty cities in Japan.
Music lovers have stepped and grooved to the sound of his trombone at some of the liveliest jazz festivals in the world, like The Newport Jazz Festival, The Montreal Jazz Festival, The Joy Of Jazz Festival, The North Sea Jazz Festival, The New Orleans & Heritage Jazz Festival and Jazz à Vienne. David L. has graced legendary concert halls, such as the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY, The Lincoln Center in New York, NY, and The L'Olympia Music Hall in Paris, France; and has played beside some of the most astonishingly talented bands and vocalist like Dee Dee Bridgewater, Wynton Marsalis, Kurt Elling, Shannon Powell, Herlin Riley, Aaron Neville, Delfeayo Marsalis, Haley Reinhart, Dr. Michael White, and The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra.
As David L. continues to share himself on stage, accompanying artist across the world he is excited to share himself more intimately with the debut of his first solo album entitled "Blues I Felt".
