String Jazz Theory: From Guitar to Violin: The Transformation
Daryll Dobson is a American Jazz Violinist, Guitarist, Composer and Audio Engineer.
He began his formal jazz studies in New York at SUNY College at Old Westbury. The Jazz Studies program was founded by Jazz Multi Instrumentalist Makanda Ken McIntyre and Jazz Percussionist Warren Smith.
When Daryll Dobson gave up living on land in 2021 he knew he would return someday…He just didn’t know When and Where that would happen.
But he knew he would also fulfill another dream upon his return and that was to transfer all of his musical knowledge to a new instrument, the Electric 5 String Violin.
