Danni Nicholls

Proudly English, but with a certain mystique informed by her Indian heritage. Musically devoted to Nashville, but raised on rock ‘n’ roll in Bedfordshire. And the creator of original, personal songs that deserve their own category of Anglo-Americana. Danni Nicholls is all those things, and has enjoyed a remarkable few years which include four award nominations, a critically acclaimed third album release, numerous headline tours and a UK wide 33 date tour supporting Shakin' Stevens.

From a young age, Danni Nicholls was soaking up American folk, country and rock n roll music from her Grandmother’s record collection. When she inherited her Uncle Heathcliff’s 1963 Burns London Shortscale Jazz guitar (rumoured to have belonged to Billy Fury!) aged 16, all those influences came pouring back out in the form of her own original material and has been flowing ever since.

With performances guaranteed to melt your heart into the soles of your boots, her passionate delivery, captivating velvet voice and charmingly engaging between-song banter compel you to fall under her spell.
