Cayla Brooke's journey is one of unwavering determination, transformation, and inspiration. Her story reflects the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity and discover one's true path. At the age of three, Cayla realized her calling—to perform and share her voice with the world. Yet, her childhood was marked by trauma, setting the stage for a tumultuous journey.

The turning point came at the age of 38, following a painful divorce that left her heartbroken and financially drained. It was a period of silence and depression, where Cayla lost her voice in every sense of the word. But against all odds, she emerged from the darkness, channelling her emotions and experiences into a remarkable tribute to the late Eva Cassidy.

Cayla's original show, featuring Vancouver's finest musicians, received critical acclaim and played to sold-out audiences, marking a triumphant return to the stage. At the age of 55, she entered a recording studio to create her debut album, "Plush Red Chair," which No Depression Magazine hailed as "The real deal and a must-have" in the music world.

In reclaiming her own voice, Cayla found a new mission: to help others rediscover their strength and purpose. Through her music, stories, and humour, she encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to recognize their innate potential and provides the tools and permission to reclaim their true selves.

Now residing in the scenic landscape of Alberta, Canada, Cayla continues her remarkable journey. She is currently working on her second album, "Simplicity," a concept album that focuses on the essence of music, featuring no more than two instruments and vocals per song. This project showcases her commitment to letting the music shine, unburdened by excess.
