Brenden Hackett

Brenden Hackett, Electric & Acoustic Bass, Bethlehem, PA. Brenden has been performing, recording & teaching bass for the past 15+ years. He’s a diverse musician who’s played Miles to Mahler and everything in between. Hackett cut his teeth in the jazz/improv world shedding standards with various groups including Philly Mignon members Sean Kennedy, Chris Kuczynski & Erin Stroup in the early 90’s. The past few years brought Brenden back to his favorite genre mix with the funk/jazz/improv group Rhino Campground. Currently he is playing with Philly Mignon, members of Rhino Campground, Ian Holmes (former American Idol contestant), Scott Bradoka and The Lisa Bodnar Band. He has studied with: Dave Annoni, Kjell Benner, Dominick Fiore, Henry Neubert, Tim Price and Gerald Veasley. Brenden teaches bass at the California Drum Shop in Bethlehem, PA and has nearing completion of an instructional book for new bass players.
