Bobby Eaton

Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma born and raised. Bobby started playing bass guitar when he was about 12yrs old after his mother Ruby Eaton (r.ip)bought him one for xmas. After playing in several local bands and night clubs at a early age in Tulsa Oklahoma along sides of Charlie Wilson, Dino Vice,Bobby Giles,Billy Bruner and others. He moved to Los angeles California with Mitchell Dooney Edwards" in the early 70's and played Bass with the likes of Natalie Cole,Ike and Tina,Bobby Womack,DJ Rogers and others. He Lived overseas for a few years return to Houston Texas after living there 22yrs. Now presently living in his hometown of Tulsa where he owns and operates a local community radio station that serves the community. The Bobby Eaton Show which is a global internet platform and Local Fm 89.9 talk radio. He reinvented himself with radio and music.

Awards

Bobby has received platinum records from Natalie Cole and recently inducted to The Booker T Washington Hall of Fame Tulsa. He has an award for Mayor GT Bynum Tulsa,and numerous plaques and awards.
