Basile Petite
I was born in Caen, France in 1992. I was first started music through piano which I studied during my childhood.
I discovered the bass at the age of 12, taking few lessons and playing over records. I entered the Jazz departement within the Conservatoire of Caen during high-school.
After finishing high-school I decided to improve my skills and knowledge through studying classes of Classical Writing, Classical Double-Bass, and Classical Analysis.
I studied 3 years in Caen and moved to Tours to attend Jazz à Tours and the Conservatoire of Tours continuing the same courses as well as Jazz Arrangement.
I passed my Jazz Degree (DEM) in June 2016 and decided to move to London.
