My Jazz Story
I love jazz because...It is a huge part of my heritage
I was first exposed to jazz...very young from my parents dancing and listening to Hard Bop
I met [musician name]...Harold Betters
The best show I ever attended was...Airto and Flora Purim
The first jazz record I bought was...Sugar by Stanley Turrentine
My advice to new listeners...go to live concerts , support live music ,
Or whatever else you have in mind. do not settle for just what you hear on recordings or be afraid of large ensembles ! You don't see large or big band Smooth jazz groups
