Kai Gluska is an internationally recognized guitarist, composer, and arranger, based in Brooklyn, NY. He is the recipient of the 2024 Prime Minister's Prize for Composers in the jazz category. His debut album, Impressions of Yesterday (2023), features his sextet, performing original compositions and spoken word interludes. The album has been praised for its creativity and depth, attracting over 30,000 monthly listeners worldwide. Kai has performed on prestigious stages across the globe, including the Bern Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Smalls, Mezzrow, and Ornithology Jazz Club in New York, as well as the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival and Beit Haamudim in Tel Aviv. Currently, Kai performs internationally and is developing a new project featuring an organ trio and original compositions.
