Samba de Llanandras

Simon Deeley
Duration: 6:33
723 views

A video record of the Steve King Big Band (UK) recording the first of the big band arrangements of two Samba pieces by composer Simon Deeley. The arrangement of "Samba de Llanandras" is by fine Sheffield arranger and composer Chris Noble. The composer Simon Deeley named the piece after his home town the Welsh county town of Llanandras (UK) and, as he says, wishing it to be a light hearted tribute to the border town. The recording of "Samba de Llanandras" is due to be released this April. Visit Simon Deeley Music website or Facebook, for updates.
