Double bass player, singer, composer and arranger, Blanche Baillargeon is a complete musician who has been working in the music industry for almost 20 years. She has won several awards and is the recipient of numerous grants. Among her many past and present collaborations are Christine Tassan et les Imposteures, Clémence Desrochers, DJ Champion, Paule Baillargeon and Misses Satchmo. She has performed in hundreds of shows and has made fifteen studio recordings. With the release of her very first album in May 2015, she asserts her uniqueness as a creator. Paysages du jour tranquille offers a fresh signature and has been warmly received by critics and audiences alike. She is currently preparing her next opus, Le Nid, scheduled for release in the spring of 2022.
