Dog Day Afternoon

Andrea Wolper
Duration: 5:23
1,470 views

The official video for jazz vocalist Andrea Wolper's performance of Wayne Carson's "Dog Day Afternoon," featuring Charlie Burnham on violin. The track is from Andrea's recent album, "Wanderlust," also featuring John Di Martino (piano), Ken Filiano (bass), Michael TA Thompson (drums), and Jeff Lederer (clarinet, flute, co-producer). The video was directed by Los Angeles actor Shiloh Fernandez (The Odyssey, Red Riding Hood, Evil Dead, Jericho), who also stars, alongside Emily Tremaine. "Wanderlust" (Moonflower Music), Wolper’s fourth album as a leader, was met with critical raves. A mainstay of the New York jazz scene, she has headlined in top clubs, tours in the U.S. and abroad, and records and performs for other artists across jazz genres.
