About the Album

Colombian jazz guitarist and composer Juan Dhas has released his latest single, “Traced in Sand.” The pensive soundscape was recorded in collaboration with renowned Greek jazz bassist, Petros Klampanis, and American percussionist/drummer, Patrick Duke Graney. The genre bending single serves as another new exploration in Juan Dhas's musical career. Combining his jazz and classical roots with his melodic sensibilities, Juan also incorporates subtle global elements from his mixed cultural heritage and vast experiences of living in different countries to create a sound unique to Juan’s artistry. “Traced in Sand” is another example of Juan’s continuing growth maturity as a musician.
